Buongiorno!
We are packed, the dogs are happily deposited at their Lake Tahoe Doggie Daycare residence (AKA - Diane & Stephan's house), the kitties have the house to themselves (with Robin keeping an eye on them), the plants are watered, and we are awaiting our trip to San Francisco on the local airport transportation, FART, or Foothill Area Rapid Transportation. Hopefully we'll be able to post some pictures of our trip to SF and the all important weighing of the luggage before it's checked in (British Airways will charge only if it's over 51 pounds - American airlines should be so generous!). Our flight leaves for Rome via London at 6:55 PM and with several hours before it leaves, we'd like to think we'll get through security (which may be a little longer at airports for awhile) and have some time to relax. We arrive in Rome at 5:50 PM local time and will probably collapse when we finally reach our hotel, the Hotel Gioberti. Thanks for joining us on our latest adventure to Italy and Switzerland!
